With plans to be the biggest operator in London by the 2012 Olympics, budget hotel group Travelodge needs to keep a close eye on its existing property portfolio and track new developments.
It had a property database with information on all hotels in the group but this was stored in Microsoft Access and managed by a single expert administrator.
We migrated the information to a multi-user database that gives many more users access to real time property information, enabling them to spot and resolve problems quickly and easily, access reports remotely and spread responsibility for data entry.
We don‘t expect a medal but we‘re told the system‘s a winner!
